Stock Controller

Role Description

To be the single point of contact for all stock movements on site, organising the warehouse, physical stock management and using Sage software to maintain automated reporting systems. The role would suit an individual who can demonstrate a level of autonomy - perhaps used to working within a large logistics organisation with established procedures and practices – and bring this experience to develop the warehouse at Bromsgrove.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of stock on site ranging from raw materials, sub-assemblies to finished goods
• Goods in
• Goods out
• Physical inventory control
• Systems inventory control
• Stock take and audit compliance
• Safe working practices
• BoM picking for manufacturing team
• Organisation and layout of warehouse
• Contribute to formal reporting and interacting with management as required
• Working of overtime as required to support business needs

Skills, experience, education

• 3 years + experience within warehouse or logistics environment 
• Experience of inventory controls and importance of stock control
• Awareness of operating to modern H&S standards
• Computer literate including experience of inventory management software and Excel
• FLT licence
• Overhead crane licence desirable but not essential
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Good communication skills
• Post school educational attainment in any subject desirable but not essential

Renumeration & Benefits

• £25,000 basic pay
• Up to 5% basic pay bonus paid annually linked to company performance
• 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays
