Quality Auditor (Field Based)

We are looking for Quality Auditor who will be required to assist the company’s quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC) and provide inspections reports to meet with the company and national wireless standards.  The Quality Auditor will monitor and observe production operations and equipment to ensure that specifications are being met in line with the core standards. The individual will work under the guidance of the SHEQ Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Completes Quality audits on engineer completed installations across various projects, both on site and desktop audits.
• Supporting/mentoring new and current Field Teams with ongoing installations for new work streams
• Aids in clearing defects when practicable, including clearing minor defects during an audit and reporting back to SHEQ department
• Mobilises where necessary to assist with targeted auditing in designated problem areas
• Conducts tasks allocated by the SHEQ Manager to ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled
• Access databases, collect information and manage access to site to ensure field audit feasibility, as required
• Completing Site Assessment Checklists
• Completing Root Cause Analysis as required
• Gives feedback to engineers on any issues found on audits
• Reports to the SHEQ Manager to arrange individual coaching with a PerformanceImprover, when required
• Acts as a Quality representative on team briefings and gives feedback on current occurring issues
• Supports the Area SHEQ Manager and Performance Improvers on investigation of reported issues
• Liaises with Area Managers/Supervisors and engineers when reporting issues
• Liaises with Area Managers to resolve Q issues raised on local area issue register

Requirements:

• Experience in a Telecoms or Construction environment and understanding of site activities and planning
• Good technical abilities and thinking
• Clear driving license
• Quick and logical thinking
• The ability to work well under pressure
• Good computer skills, including MS Office package
• Pay attention to detail and flexibility
• Good communication skills
• Very well organized
• Working in a team environment

Essential Qualifications and Certificates:

• Professional certification, such as Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor
• 3 years or more experience in Telecommunication as a rigger or field engineer
• Superb computer competence, including database management
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version control practices and defect management practices
• Confident communication skills
• Experience working within a Quality Auditing position within the telecoms industry

• Working at Height (Rooftop)
