Job Description

We are recruiting for a Financial Controller ,whereby you will be:

  • Bookkeeping and accounting: coordinate general accounting, implementation of accounting policies, accounting valuations, financial reporting, support to the ERP environment, yearend close processes, coordination of work with auditors during the audit of the annual accounts and support to the CFO.
  • Accounts Payable: Reception of invoices from suppliers, internal approval of invoices, preparation of payment lists, cost centre imputation.
  • Accounts Receivable: Issuance of sales invoices to customers either in paper format or by using ESA-P system, maintenance of database for milestone payment plans and contracts, intercompany invoices, collections and follow-up of outstanding receivables.
  • Tax Compliance: Execution of Tax schedule, revision of Tax forms and filings as prepared by external accounting services, payment of taxes, and implementation of Transfer Pricing policies as described at the Group level.
  • Treasury and cash management, cash forecasts and banking operations: Relationship with Banks, authorized signatory, determination of cash needs, preparation of monthly cash forecasts, execution of payments, reconciliation with bank statements, analyse deviations, management of payment means such as petty cash, cut checks, or Visa card, wire orders, etc.
  • Visa card and accounting control: Month end reporting, Visa statement reconciliation, reporting to HQ on transactions and justifications.
  • Payroll information: Interface with external payroll specialist and with Human Resources.
  • Customers, suppliers, and biding process: Coordination of external services suppliers related to finance and legal, review of administrative and financial aspects of contracts with customers, review of administrative and financial aspects of procurement agreements with suppliers, support to requirements for public tenders and proposals, support for the emission of bank guarantees or standby letters. Administrative contact (telephone or mail) for customers and suppliers.
  • Overall financial support: Financial assistance to other international affiliates of the group, in any of the domain areas of Finance, Administration and Legal.

If you want this position to be yours, we would like you to have the following knowledge/experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or any related discipline is required.
  • A master degree and/or specific executive education in Finance is a plus.
  • ERP Navision experience shall be appreciated.
  • Strong excel and analytical skills.
  • Experience in managing and compiling financial reports using local GAAP standards.
  • Experience in team building and team management shall be appreciated.
  • Proficient in English. Ability to communicate in Spanish is an asset.
